Hassan Al-Sayed provides strategic leadership to the Government Information Management Office (GIMO) and oversees the development of the integrated e-Government (i-Gov) plan aligned to the National ICT Strategic Plan.
Al-Sayed has more than 14 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on IT strategic planning, and has handled numerous large-scale projects. Al-Sayed also has hands-on experience in various operating systems, hardware management services and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications with extensive ERP knowledge.
Previously, Al-Sayed served on the i-Gov program steering committee and also served as Deputy Executive Director for GIMO. Prior to ictQATAR, he worked for Qatar Telecom Corp (Qtel) as Head of Technical Support.
Al-Sayed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex, UK. He also has a technology diploma in Computer Science from Qatar University, Doha.
