Service Provider Resources
ictQATAR is committed to developing a vibrant telecommunications market in Qatar that balances the needs of consumers with the interest of service providers. Competition in the telecoms market spurs innovation and leads to better service and value for consumers. Currently there are two licensed service providers in Qatar for both fixed and mobile telecommunications – Qtel and Vodafone-Qatar. These service providers are under the jurisdiction of ictQATAR’s Regulatory Authority and are subject to relevant telecommunications laws, decisions and policies.
ictQATAR regularly invites comments from service providers as it develops policies and procedures for growing the telecommunications market through public consultations.
