This document is the unofficial English translation of Decree Law No. 36 of 2004 that establishes the Supreme Council for Information and Communications Technology (ictQATAR), with the objective to regulate the two sectors of communications and information technology, and the creation of an advanced information community by encouraging and facilitating a suitable environment of infrastructure and a community capable of using communications and information technologies.
The Decree Law outlines ictQATAR’s objectives, functions, management, structure, resources, and general provisions that will apply to ictQATAR.
