ictQATAR Secretary General Dr. Hessa Al-Jaber officially opened the inaugural Qatar ICT Conference and Exhibition (QITCOM) on May 24, 2011 at the Doha Exhibition Center. In her speech, Dr. Hessa highlighted the three main themes for the conference: innovate, connect and transform. She also encouraged audience members to unlock their innovative ideas to transform the world and expressed her goal of making Qatar a hub for digital content in the MENA region.
