Dr. Hessa Al Jaber is the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology. Dr. Hessa opened ictQATAR's Digitally Open Forum, sharing her vision for creating a more digitally open society in Qatar.
In her remarks, Dr. Hessa said she viewed digital openness as a moral obligation in many ways and believed all sectors of society could benefit from a more open culture. She shared her support for Creative Commons and also announced plans to digitize major parts of Qatar's heritage.
