ictQATAR is obliged under the Telecommunications Law to safeguard consumers’ interests and to address anti-competitive practices in the telecommunications sector. As part of this, ictQATAR has the authority to approve consumer and business retail tariffs. Tariffs are any statement of prices, rates, chargers or other forms of compensation, such as rebates, waivers or discounts, offered by licensed service providers.
All tariffs approved by ictQATAR are required to be posted on the licensed service providers’ websites:
