ictQATAR embraces Safer Internet Day 2010  as an important call to action for everyone to keep children safe on the internet, while still allowing them to enjoy its boundless benefits. 

Safer Internet Day 2010 , is organized by Insafe each year in February to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world. The topic for 2010's day  - held on February 9th, 2010 -  is "Think B4 U post!".

"Think B4 U post!" is an important reminder to children and parents alike that information you share on the internet or your mobile phone becomes public. This can lead to people knowing far more about you than you would like, unwarranted gossip or cyber bullying.

ictQATAR is committed to keeping children safe online  and is currently developing a website dedicated to online safety. The site will include useful information for children, teens, parents and educators, as well as fun interactive games and videos.
